It's almost time to get all philosophical — or maybe just solve some laser puzzles — as a release date for The Talos Principle 2 has just been announced. Devolver Digital and Croteam have released the above new trailer for the upcoming sequel, revealing a launch date of 2nd November, 2023.
Following on from the events of the first game, The Talos Principle 2 looks to offer similarly challenging first-person puzzles, all while you ruminate on its themes of humanity and the nature of existence. Pretty heavy stuff, but ultimately, this is the follow-up to a great puzzler, so we're expecting it to be a winner.

Oh good another November game XD
Still this looks good
Can't wait for this one. The Talos Principle is probably my favourite puzzle game, even more then Portal I'd say.
VR mode please
@AdamNovice did you try The Witness? That one really clicked with me.
@Dannydesu I did but I ended up struggling with it after awhile. I liked what it was going for, but Talos had a way of getting under my skin tbh.
Wonderful, another Uriel to drown, get electrocuted, crawl on edges, set up lasers just right for the sheer folly of what is reality on a meta philosophical journey. The portal looks nice.
Absolutley! The first one was such a underrated game! I mean it got good reviews (88 on Metacritic), but nobody was talking about it.
A must play game if you like puzzle games like Portal, only with a much more mature story based on philosophy and the meaning of life.
I've played thousands of games in the last 35 years and The Talos Principle is somewhere in my top 10 games of all time. I bought the game on a whim without even wanting to play a puzzle game. I came away from it with an absolute love of the story and more so the massive amount of Easter eggs and just brilliant setting. Little additions where I managed to glitch out of the map only to find a message from the Devs on a rock in the distance, was just a moment of genius on their part. An absolute blast and I can't wait for the sequel.
First one was amazing I did all the main stuff and the DLC but I never did manage some of the bonus star ones, still can't wait to start this one, would love a psvr2 mode!!
